Here's Another NO RESERVE auction for a 2003 Ford F350, 7.3, 6 speed stick, extended cab, dually, 4x4. Available this week from C&J Auto. This truck is equipped with the 7.3 but IT NEEDS MAJOR ENGINE WORK or REPLACEMENT. It does not currently run. Do not bid on this truck unless you fully understand this. This truck has a Clean title. It is being sold as a mechanics fixer-upper. You will need to arrange transport, as the truck will not drive. The interior and body are in average condition. I know this all sounds terrible, but unfortunately it must be said for the few that have ruined it for the rest of us. Thanks for understanding. Brief Description. As mentioned, the F350 does not run. I purchased this truck at a dealer only auction and took a chance that it might be something simple. Even with a jump start and starting fluid, it does not fire up. I believe it needs an engine. I am not a Diesel mechanic and I am not trying to mislead anyone. This is a project truck. Bid accordingly. Plan on the worst case scenario of it needing an engine. The body is in average condition in my opinion. There is a dent on the front bumper and the passenger door/fender gap, see pics . It does have the usual scratches, dings, blemishes, etc... Please refer to the pictures. I see no evidence of any sheet metal / panel, collision damage replacements. I see no evidence of any repainted areas. There are 24 pictures of this F350 that should illustrate and cover most of the questions or cosmetic issues. The interior looks pretty good. The seats are comfortable, but they have been patched. The Floor has rubber mat that doesn't mold like carpet. All the gauges seem to be working properly. Horn works, lights all seem to work, heater works. The tires are in fair to good condition. All emissions equipment is in place and un-tampered with. The transfer case is shifted on the floor and it has lockout hubs. The windshield does have a crack. Overall, this is one nicely optioned F350 that should make the next owner happy for the amount spent. It will certainly be better than making payments for years on a new $60K truck that doesn't even have the 7.3! Don't miss out on this, get your bids in early! They generally charge between $100-$175 and THAT may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or specific tests for ANYTHING. This includes emissions and safety inspections. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That does not mean the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with, it simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of the mileage. We also occasionally need to title these vehicles in our business' name if they are from out of state and do not have room for any further reassignments. This may take up to 30 days, and we have no control over that, as we are at the States mercy .
