My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahse. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 BMW 740iL finished in Calypso Red over gray with dark tinted windows. Calypso Red is one of my favorite colors and looks especially good on the full sized 7 Series. I would rate the exterior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. The Calypso Red finish looks great and has a deep shine all around with just the beginnings of some minor fading visible on some of the plastics which is normal with age. The body lines up nice and straight. All of the gaps look even all around. The hood, doors and truck all open and close easily. There are no major scratches, scrapes or other exterior flaws to disclose. The exterior of this sedan features painted side skirts, front spoiler and rear apron for an updated look that is nice and clean...not ugly black trim here. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory BBS alloys show well and the tires show good tread all around. I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Overall, the interior is clean and comfortable. The few minor complaints I have are just typical loose trim issues which are common with age. You can see that some of the fabric is loose on the a-pillar trim and on the rear of the headliner. There are also a few pieces of loose trim around the dash and center section of the console...which is also common with age. For some reason, the winshield wipers appear to be inoperable. The carpets show good for their age. A full set of factory floor mats are included. The gray leather seats show well and are comfortable. The power windows, mirrors, seats and sunroof all appear to be working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working as well. I can feel the a/c compressor turn on but it is a little cool out yet to accurately judge the effectiveness of the air conditioner. The audio system is originl and appears to be working properly. The power rear shade raises and lowers properly. The right rear door is missing its shades. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition but is in need of a few service items. The 4.4L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I can feel some wear in the front suspension bushings starting to show. It isn't bad yet but will probably need addressed within the next few months or so. The whole bushing kit can be had right here on eBay for a little over $200 and installation is roughly 5 hours by any qualified mechanic...a BMW specialist is not required for this service. The steering feels a little tighter than I'm used to but that should also be taken care of by replacing the aforementioned bushing kit. The only other thing I am aware of that this BMW will need in the near future is a heater core. As it stands now, there is a very small leak that only produces a slight smell of coolant. I had my mechanic keep the system under pressure for three days and only a little coolant actually leaked out (about the size of a soda can) under 72 hours of constant pressure. The engine makes great power and purrs like a kitten...no chain noise or symptoms of vacuum leaks which are common as these age. The engine keeps good temperature. There is an airbag and an ABS light that stay on. The five speed adaptive drive automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through November of 2014. You'll have to put a few bucks into this one eventually to make it right...but a 740iL with low miles and a clean body is worth a little effort. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahse. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 BMW 740iL finished in Calypso Red over gray with dark tinted windows. Calypso Red is one of my favorite colors and looks especially good on the full sized 7 Series. I would rate the exterior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. The Calypso Red finish looks great and has a deep shine all around with just the beginnings of some minor fading visible on some of the plastics which is normal with age. The body lines up nice and straight. All of the gaps look even all around. The hood, doors and truck all open and close easily. There are no major scratches, scrapes or other exterior flaws to disclose. The exterior of this sedan features painted side skirts, front spoiler and rear apron for an updated look that is nice and clean...not ugly black trim here. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory BBS alloys show well and the tires show good tread all around.
I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Overall, the interior is clean and comfortable. The few minor complaints I have are just typical loose trim issues which are common with age. You can see that some of the fabric is loose on the a-pillar trim and on the rear of the headliner. There are also a few pieces of loose trim around the dash and center section of the console...which is also common with age. For some reason, the winshield wipers appear to be inoperable. The carpets show good for their age. A full set of factory floor mats are included. The gray leather seats show well and are comfortable. The power windows, mirrors, seats and sunroof all appear to be working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working as well. I can feel the a/c compressor turn on but it is a little cool out yet to accurately judge the effectiveness of the air conditioner. The audio system is originl and appears to be working properly. The power rear shade raises and lowers properly. The right rear door is missing its shades. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition but is in need of a few service items. The 4.4L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I can feel some wear in the front suspension bushings starting to show. It isn't bad yet but will probably need addressed within the next few months or so. The whole bushing kit can be had right here on eBay for a little over $200 and installation is roughly 5 hours by any qualified mechanic...a BMW specialist is not required for this service. The steering feels a little tighter than I'm used to but that should also be taken care of by replacing the aforementioned bushing kit. The only other thing I am aware of that this BMW will need in the near future is a heater core. As it stands now, there is a very small leak that only produces a slight smell of coolant. I had my mechanic keep the system under pressure for three days and only a little coolant actually leaked out (about the size of a soda can) under 72 hours of constant pressure. The engine makes great power and purrs like a kitten...no chain noise or symptoms of vacuum leaks which are common as these age. The engine keeps good temperature. There is an airbag and an ABS light that stay on. The five speed adaptive drive automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through November of 2014. You'll have to put a few bucks into this one eventually to make it right...but a 740iL with low miles and a clean body is worth a little effort. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
