You are bidding on a 1965 VW Beetle . The car runs and drives good. The body on the car was in pretty good condition. We basically sanded the body and tried to give it that old paint look. It is far from perfect, but I think it looks good now for what it is. I didn't want to spend months or years trying to make it perfect. The brakes were completely replaced from front to back; lines, master cylinder, etc. The worst part of the rust was in the fender wells, which were cut out and new metal was welded in. I had the interior redone; seats, headliner and carpet. The motor is a 1600CC, which now has 12volt. There is no heat, because I am running a header. It also has brand new wheels and tires. The front was lowered 2 inches with drop spindles, and rear turned down 2 clicks. As I said before, this is not at all a show car, but a nice car to drive and enjoy. THE CAR WAS ORIGINALLY SOLD, BUT WE ARE RELISTING BECAUSE OF NONPAYMENT
