1976 Triumph TR-6 Exodus Muscle Cars is proud to present this Triumph TR-6. These cars were produced from 1969 to 1976. This is a 1976 which was the last year of the production run until the TR-7 was introduced. This car comes with the original 2.5 liter inline 6 cylinder engine, dual factory carbs with manual choke, great sounding dual exhaust, and a 4 speed manual transmission with electric over drive that works very well. These are well performing and fun driving cars with the torque of the inline 6 engine. It has power front disc brakes and drum rear. It has a factory hard top, convertible boot, and tonneau cover, factory spare wheel with jack & tools. The interior is in very good shape, soft top has no tears and is nice. The plastic rear window has yellowed some though. The engine and engine bay is very clean and original and has not been hacked up like so many you see. The car is very structurally sound being from the south. The previous owner had it 10 years and lived east of Austin,Tx. which is southern Texas and is a very nice climate. The floors are very solid and have never been patched or repaired, rocker panels are excellent, trunk is very solid, frame is very solid as well. The 58K miles are believed to be correct, paint, top, and interior are said to be original as well. The paint still has a good shine and gloss and is not cracking or checking any where. Mechanically this car is wonderful, very easy to start, very peppy, steering and braking is very good, has red line Micheline tires on the factory 15" wheels, Blaupunkt stereo to listen to while cruising with the top down. It has some door dings, but still has great curb appeal. These little Triumphs are a very inexpensive way to get into collector cars and are just a blast to tool around in. They have really gotten more popular in the last 5 years and the price is reflecting that and they will only keep climbing in value.
