denvyr Store 1982 XR500R I went out for the first time this season...and WOW.....I am getting old! I am having a hard time kick starting this beast and keeping my leg from getting tired after a full weekend....I am going to part with it and get something with a electric start. This is the Honda XR500R model so you cannot ride it on the street but you could pull a truck in the dirt with all the power it has!!!! It needs new tires....17" in the rear and 21" in the front....I wore them down good this weekend at Apex Nevada with all the rocks...they were the 2nd set ever on this bike so they were ready to go and old. New oil yesterday, New Tusk Bars and Pad, Tusk D Fleck Bark Busters (Hand Guards), Compression Release, and a new spark plug yesterday...light works....This XR 500 is a well maintained and tough big bulletproof engine that will exhaust you if you are not young or in good shape.... I am selling to go and shop for a brand new bike with electric start. The kickstand mount is cracked off and the under plastic sub fender by the swingarm below the rear fender is cracked and one of the sidepanels has a small circle crack. Nothing needing immediate reapir and everything works on this bike just like it did in 1982! Lost my title to this bike so a "Off Road Bill of Sale" will be issued so you can register it with DMV or OHV dept to get your sticker. You will not be sorry you bought this one! Local pickup only or buyer arranges shipping from Henderson, NV 89074. So that means if you buy it you need to figure out how you are going to pick it up.
