This would make an awesome project car for anyone looking to restore a rare and coveted Datsun 240z. While it needs a bit of work the car was running when I parked it, though it would probably need some work to get it running solid at this point. The exterior is in good shape considering the age with a very unique paint job. The clear coat is faded as you can see in the pictures, and there is minor rust in various locations. The body is primarily in good shape all things considered, though the bumpers could use work or replacing. There is some primer on the drivers side front fender where the paint was scratched years ago. The interior needs a good cleaning and restoration work. This car was built before they moved away from the dual single barrel carbs, and has the inline 6 engine with the 4 speed manual transmission. It would need new tires as well. This isn't a road ready car, but as far as projects go this is perfect for either the hobbyist or enthusiast. The car is listed for sale locally and this listing will be removed in the event it sells. I will be glad to help in any way I can to get the car shipped if need be, though all costs and setup are the responsibility of the buyer. While I feel this car has a huge amount of potential and isn't in terrible shape I have to list it as is where is due to the age and because I don't know enough about cars to figure out a detailed list of what it needs. With that said, I believe this is definitely your chance to have a fun restoration project that will leave you with a car worth much more then what you'd pay buying one already restored from someone else.
