Here is a chance to buy A true barn kept original 47 chevy 3800 5 window pickup, not many like it left. It has been parked since the early 70s and was last tagged in 1970. I have owned it for about 15 years and just now started working with it .Everything is like it should be except the metal floor in the bed and extra metal at the tail gate. This is a great running truck with no smoke or blow by. I have a gas can in the bed and the fuel tank will need to be removed and cleaned. I have installed a new water pump fuel pump and new 6V battery and rebuilt the master cyl. The head lights ,dash lights,brakes ,generator ,starter all work good . The steering is tight like a low mileage truck. The cab and front fenders are almost dent free.The rear fenders have caught all the bumps the truck has found over all the years . The windows roll up and down like they should and all the glass is there. This truck is 99% rust free. One very small spot in the left floor and one small spot in the back of the cab below the rear glass .I think this is the only year of this body style that has the gas tank under the bed and not behind the seat. Look the truck over and ask any questions you might have. This is a great original truck to restore or just fix it up and drive.
