Vehicle Detail
Up for auction here is the truck listed in the pictures. I bought this truck from a private seller in November 2013 in New Hampshire. The previous owner bought it from his brother who owned it for many years. When I bought this it needed tires badly and the check engine light was on. Other than the bald tires at the time I personally drove this to my home in upstate NY and was very impressed with the ride. Once home I bought brand new tired from Mavis discount tires. The tires I bought are on the truck and will go with it. They are all weather General Grabbers. When I had the tires put on they also did a 4 wheel alignment. Total cost for the tires and alignment was $573.76 Once I put the new tires on I had to address the check engine light. The reading for that said replace Power Control Module (PCM). I had to order that from a company out of Miami Florida called All Computer Resources INC and that cost was $245. This part had to be put in and programmed by a Dodge dealer. That installation cost me $86.40. The only other thing I have put on the truck since I purchased it was new wiper blades. I believe those were around $30. I also purchased side steps which were $130 and went to have them put on but the ones shipped to me were for the wrong size truck. I have since ordered new ones and just haven't put them on. They are in the original box and I will include them with the sale for you to put on. Other than everything I listed above about the truck I have no complaints. I was driving a Nissan Rogue before I purchased the truck but we moved outside the city where we had lived for 10 years and having to drive to the dump now and really needing a truck was also something I missed driving, however, tight finances and having to open the front door to get the back doors open to let the kids get in is a daily pain. I would like to downsize a bit and go back to a 4 door vehicle with a V6 rather than the V8 to also help with the fuel expenses. I have all the receipts for the work I listed above except the wipers. You will be impressed with the overall sound, ride and body of the truck for the age (12-13 years old). Currently there are no gauges on at all. Everything works well. The PCM I purchased comes with a lifetime warranty should it ever be an issue, which they say is rare to begin with. I drive this daily for short trips taking the kids to and from school and 4 days a week to work and back which is only a 10-15 minute ride. Shipping or picking up the truck will be your responsibility. After the purchase I would prefer at the least deposit of $500 in the form of a cashiers check mailed to me which you'd purchase from your bank. In doing so, your bank has the tracking ability so you know when the check is cashed for proof of payment. If you prefer to send the whole purchase price that is also fine. If you send partial payment then cash is the only other form of payment I will accept at the time of pick up. I have the title here with NO LIENS RECORDED. I paid for this truck with cash so there are no liens. Any question please send me a message. I am in NY state zip 12078 if you'd like to get a rough estimate of the distance should you win the auction.
