2006 Honda CR

I just completed the build on this bike. It has only been taken out to ride once, and it is a beast! This bike started as a 2006 Honda CRF250R for the frame and suspension. The motor came from a 1999 Honda CR500. The entire motor was torn apart. Everything was cleaned and inspected professionally by the local Honda dealership. All of the bearings and seals were replaced. It has a new Hot Rods crank assembly as well. The cylinder was bored out to match the new piston as well. Porting on the head is stock. It has a Hinson clutch basket in it too. It has the stock carb, a new Boyesen Rad Valve, and new Pro Circuit pipe and silencer as well. It has all new cables, new Pro Taper bars, an adjustable clutch perch, and new Cycra hand guards. All of the electronics on the bike are from the stock CR500. The suspension is all stock from the CRF250R. It has the original plastics from the CRF250R as well. Most people want to put their own plastics and graphics on so I didn't bother with this. The front tire is almost done, and the rear tire is in good shape. It also has a new chain on it and the sprockets are in excellent shape. The entire chassis was stripped and the frame, swingarm, radiator guards, and triples were powder coated black. All new bearings and seals were replaced in the chassis then. I have also put a skid plate on it to protect the bottom rails as well, as they have zero damage on them. The welds on the chassis were done by certified professionals and done right. They are not some kind of junk butt welds either. The radiators were modified to accept both coolant exhausts on the head and not converted to only one. No details were overlooked on this build. This bike is amazing. I can not begin to describe how much fun this bike is. I use to have a steel frame 500 and I just wanted to build one of these as a hobby. It is time for me to sell now.
