This weeks auction is for my neighbor's 1984 Honda CR 250 R 2 stroke off road/ dirt bike. I am listing it for him this week. Bike has been parked for just the last season. 2nd time out the head gasket blew. Bike was shut down at that point and parked ever since. He got an excellent deal on a newer 4 stroke bike and just never went back to it. Bike was overhauled the summer of 2012. Used on weekends without fail for the rest of that season. Wiseco forged piston & rod we installed. New rings and cylinder was machined at that time . Bearings , water pump , clutch & seals replaced. Right now the bike does not run. Fuel was drained when put away and motor does spin freely. With a bit of work it could be a quick, inexpensive project to finish out this winter with. Just in time for this years riding season.
