The gentleman who bought this bike new in 1992 loved having the bike but rode it very little. He kept the maintenance up, changing fluids regularly and riding ocassionally but just didn't get into being a regular rider. We have gone through the machine, performing a complete tune-up and installing a new battery. The fuel injected engine starts up easily and idles smoothly right off the bat. Legendary German engineering has created a smooth running, liquid cooled inline 3 cylinder powerplant that developes 70 horsepower and goes like the wind. This bike is finished in Classic Black which was premium option over the Royal Blue or Red Metallic colors that were standard. The stock seat has been replaced by Corbin model and the original seat comes with the sale. A National Cycle Plexistar 2 windstream has been fitted as well and it is still crystal clear (see photos). The only cosmetic blemish on this very well preserved original machine is an unfortunate scratch on the left side of the fuel tank.
