Vehicle Detail

No reserve! Get it before the spring rush when prices climb. This is a well-sorted, Adventure Ready machine that will take you wherever you want to go, in more comfort that most dualsport bikes can offer. I've ridden this from NH to TN and back on the highway; I've explored class VI roads, took countless dayrides...this is the one bike that will do it all. The lowest seat height in the dualsport segment, and the most comfortable seat as well. The topcase will fit a tent, a sleeping bag, and a sleeping pad, the sidecases will carry your clothes and gear...go explore. It only needs a rider. Don't wait until the spring and pay more. Get this bike now. 2009 G650GS with 13,738 miles. I have a factory service manual on DVD, and a clean title in my hand. (I also have a couple of oil filters, and a new air filter) 6k service was done at Second Wind BMW, 12k service done by myself. Valves were all within spec. Bike is currently wearing TKC 80 tires with about 1500 miles on them. Plenty of life left. I also have a set of Anakee 2 tires that will go with the bike. The front has about 200 miles on it, the rear about 1800; you can ride a few thousand miles more on these. A well maintained, trouble-free machine that will go forever. Oil and filter changed in the last 300 miles, and tires were balanced. Mods: GPR trioval stainless exhaust (I've got the stock exhaust as well) It adds a nice, deep tune and improves mid-range acceleration. Barkbusters 20mm risers BMW handguards (weather more than anything else) hardwired and fused for Garmin Nuvi 500/550 and the like, mini USB at 90 degree angle. Z-technik Touring screen - greatly reduces wind buffeting, making this bike comfortable at highway speeds. Lightbar with two (fog) running lights, 35W each, relay wired and fused. Comes on only with ignition on, and serve as running lights. Touratech front sprocket cover. Reduces wear on chain/sprocket due to mud and dirt piled up behind the stock cover. Easier to clean as well. Touratech ABS guard. Protect the expensive ABS sensor on the rear wheel. Touratech chain cover. Sleek design that makes cleaning easy. Touratech fork guards. Protect forks from gravel, rocks, and dirt, prolonging the life of fork seals. Touratech upper fairing crash bars. No need to explain, BMW plastics are not cheap. Touratech headlight guard. Same as above, headlights do not come cheap. BMW crash bars basket on engine. The best engine cage made for this bike. Rocks cannot get to the motor. BMW tankbag. Fits like it should. Nice, accessible storage on any ride, long or short. Givi 3 case setup (E21 sides and 45L topcase) painted to match the bike. Enough room to pack everything you need on a long trip. Modified seat - longer distance comfort (not a home job). Seat foam carved to support lower back, resulting in a more comfortable ride. I've done 700 mile days on this seat, and was not hurting. Upholstered in "carbon" look waterproof vinyl at a pro upholstery shop. Touratech fender extension (rear) mudguard. Keep the mud from spraying your back. Extra pod brake lights. Added visibility. Four extra LED oval lights let the car behind you know that you are slowing down. Removable stripes on tank - high quality virgin vinyl, just heat up and peel. 8 years UV stable vinyl from a car lettering place. Will not peel off unless you want it to, but easy to remove when you no longer want it. RK X-ring chain (2k miles ago) and JT steel sprockets (2k miles). Waterpump, head bearings, and sprocket seals replaced last year under warranty - these carry their own warranty for extra year, parts and labor included. Work done at Second Wind BMW in NH. Wheel bearings last year, front/rear - sealed SKF (good stuff), new rear brake pads, air filter, sparkplugs. You are good for another 10+k miles. AGM Battery. Extreme Magna. More crank power than stock, no spills or acid to worry about. Bike has a few stickers from various ADV events and a sticker from Deals Gap, TN. Instant street cred, or just remove them. Stock ABS (switchable), Center Stand, Heated Grips, Aluminum skidplate A trouble-free bike since I've owned it. Motorcycle is for sale locally. I reserve the right to terminate the auction early.
