This Saturn has gas saving, yet sporty 1.9L Twin Cam 4 cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission. This car has been our dealer go-fer car for most of the last year. Anytime we needed to drive a car to run errands, shuttle cars back from sale or the mechanic, get someone from the airport, or go out of town, this was the car I’d take. I’ve put literally thousands of miles on this car. It gets great fuel economy and has been tremendously reliable. The only bad thing I can say about it is that I have no idea how many miles this car has on it. There is no odometer. The title shows “Not Actual Mileage”. In the time that we’ve had this vehicle, we have done some maintenance. In addition to the regular oil changes and such: I replaced the radiator and front brakes when we first bought it; the alternator over the summer; and both front ball joints recently. The car has a current PA annual safety and inspection good through the end of August, 2014. As you can see in the pictures, this is a nice looking car for the age. It has a dent in the hood, and a patched spot on the passenger front fender. Overall, it looks good from a few feet away. The alloy wheels look good and contrast nicely with the blue. They are wrapped in radials with good tread. The interior of the car shows the expected wear from normal use. The driver’s seat is a nice bucket style, so it is comfortable and holds you well. The other seats are in good shape. The carpets do not have any holes. The windows open and close easily. The power seatbelts do work properly. The factory stereo works. The heater works well and the A/C is ice cold. Mechanically, this car runs and drives quite well. The Twin Cam 4 cylinder engine has good balance of economy, sportiness, and simplicity. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts easily and the clutch is strong. Saturns are one of the easiest cars to learn to drive a manual on, they are very easy and forgiving. The power steering is smooth and straight. The suspension is in good shape with no shakes, wobbles, or pulling. The brakes stop the car well. It is pretty uncommon for me to have a car that runs well that I can sell for about a $1000 and have no major issues to disclose. It might not be a beauty pageant winner, but this car should get you where you need to go with no drama. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time, while the auction is live or after the auction closes. The seller may, at its sole discretion, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on this or future auctions.
Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
