The bike is in a non running condition. The bikes previous owner had replaced both top and bottom end components and the timing chain tensioner failed and caused the bike to jump timing and float the valves, thus causing major damage to the valves, head, and piston. The bike is extremely clean, and not roached out with random bolts, it has many Works Connection parts, engine guard, radiator braces, the carburetor has a Boyesen Quickshot installed, brand new front tire, aftermarket coolant hoses, new air filter. To get this bike running would require, the head to be cleaned up and new valve seats re-cut, new valves, and guides. The springs, keepers and cams are fine. The cam chain was replaced and still in spec after the motor went. The jug has a few small gouges in it, that if you bored it out and had it re-plated it would be good as new. You would also need a top end Kit, so depending on if you can do the work yourself and search around for parts, you could get this bike running for under 600 dollars, maybe less. The bottom end of this bike is perfectly fine, the motor was inspected and flushed to ensure there were no random metal chunks floating around. The price of this bike reflects the potential amount if we were to part it out. The pictures show the bike disassembled, but it was cleaned up and put back together, so all parts are there, you will not get a random box of bolts you have to try and figure out where they go. The front wheel is slightly bent but we have a new rim that goes with if you care to replace it. Has a clear title. The bike is being listed locally as well so this auction may end early.
