Restored 1948 CJ-2A. Road legal, and clear title. I basically took junkyard material, and restored it. I have all the receipts for everything. The odometer just rolled over to 160,000, but there's less than 1,000 miles on the rebuilt engine. T-90 3 speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case. Here's a list of the main things I've done: Welded in a new floor, and done the body work as best I could with new side steps, etc. While body was off frame, I treated it with Ospho rust inhibitor before repainting. Made a new tailgate. Replaced headlights, taillights, turn signals. Completely re-did the wiring harness, and a new fuse box. Rebuilt the distributor, new fuel pump, carburetor, water pump and thermostat. Replaced tie rods, and steering box components. Rebuilt transfer case. New battery. Replaced steering wheel. New steel gas tank with filler neck, sending unit & gas cap. Replaced seats and added seat belts. New fuel, oil, battery, temp gauges and ignition coil. New emergency brake. New wheels, tires & lockout hubs. New windshield with seals. New wipers & wiper motors. New shocks, tie rods and steering stabilizer. Replaced various seals in the drive train. New u-joints. Replaced the rearview and side mirrors. Tiger Top is less than a year old. Custom made tow bar. I'm throwing in all the repair manuals, and spare parts I've collected.
