Here is a Very Clean and well kept 1992 Honda Civic VX 1.5L D15Z1 SOHC VTEC-E 5 speed manual, A/C, Newer stereo/CD player and otherwise appears stock, original and untouched other than routine maintenance items. NO RESERVE! This is your chance to benefit from someone else's hard work by not having to search for the cream of the crop as far as stock and unmolested Civic VXs go. Here's the deal. A good friend of mine knew back in 2012 that a family member would be needing a good, reliable and economical vehicle in 2013. So, we both began researching all vehicles out there in the price range of what he was willing to spend to help them and determined that if he could find the "right" one in the "right" condition, he would buy a Civic VX. He asked for my help locating one because he said all he was finding was junk. I then explained how difficult it would be to find a good, clean, unmolested one in stock and untampered with condition with a clean history. I began an extensive and exhaustive search all around the country for what he was looking for and found many that after careful scrutiny just was not what he was looking for. Lots of stuff with engine swaps, rust, damage, salvage and theft history, etc. Just lots and lots of junk. Along the way, found a few decent cars, but none that quite measured up. Then I ran across this original, elderly owner car and did some quick research, had it inspected and got extensive photos and went over everything with my friend and he bought it immediately because it was by far the best we had been able to find. By now, I'm sure you are scratching your head wondering why it is now listed here for sale. Well, that is the sad part. After all the time and effort that went into finding the car, my friend never gave a thought to the fact that not everyone can or in this particular case, is willing to drive a manual transmission car. The family member this was intended for has never driven a manual transmission vehicle and is totally afraid to drive a manual transmission vehicle. So, this car has seen virtually no use since my friend bought it. Please feel free to check the attached history report or pull one for yourself and see where it shows he bought and titled it and what the mileage was vs what is listed on this listing and you will see that is only has a few additional miles on it since his purchase. These cars are known to get an amazing 45 to 55 mpg depending on the way you drive and have seen folks getting mileage in the 70 mpg+ range by utilizing some hypermiling techniques! The paint appears to be the original 22 year old paint(that does oxidize over time after detailing) and there is no evidence that I could find of any rust or previous body repair that you will find on 99.99+% of the cars you will find out there. However, keep in mind that while this car has been lovingly cared for, that it is a 22 year old car and not perfect as they were not even perfect when they were new, let alone 22 years later. Additionally, this car does have the correct multi-wire O2 sensor and other VX specific items as it is an unmodified, stock and exceptionally original VX with the only changes being the upgraded radio and maintenance items that have been replaced over the years.
