Rex's Repairs: This car was claimed as a loss due to front end collision damage. The damage was fairly light, and the car was still operable when Rex received it. All damage was repaired using high-quality parts, and the car was test driven for upwards of 100 miles; it runs and rides great! Rex keeps thorough documentation of all of his repairs and would be happy to provide it upon request. Specific Defects: This is a great, solid, reliable car with no known defects. There is some standard cosmetic wear on the exterior in the form of various light scratches and a few scuffs. These have been documented to the best of our ability in the photos below. Current Condition: The car is fully serviced with fresh oil and fluids, with great all season tires that will last through many seasons. The Subaru Boxer engine is powerful and strong, and the transmission is a smooth shifting automatic. This Outback has a valid West Virginia state inspection sticker, good through 1/15, and has a WV Reconstructed Title, ready to be transferred to and driven in any state of your choosing. How Does it Work?

Rex's Reconstructed Titles are the source of much confusion and many questions, so he'll take the initiative to address a few of the more common ones, such as... What is a reconstructed title? A "Reconstructed" title is the title issued after a "salvaged" car has been repaired, inspected by a state agency, and deemed road-worthy again. Rex does not sell cars with a "Salvage" title. Is it easy to transfer an R-title into my name? It sure is! Reconstructed titles function just like "clean" titles. Will insurance be more expensive? Nope! While Rex can't speak for every insurance company, a "reconstructed" title typically has no bearing on insurance rates. If I decide to sell the car later, will it be worth less because it is "reconstructed"? As Kelley Blue Book notes: How do I know which car is right for me? Rex’s Answer: The ReXspection Grading Scale Upon arrival, Rex evaluates each Subaru and assigns a ReXconstruction grade based on the quality of the car as it existed just before the damaging event. This “pre-damage” grade is “A,” "B," or “C,” based on the component condition of the various systems on the car. For example, while mileage is the best predictor of overall car wear, Rex still inspects and grades suspension, drive train, electrical, interior and exterior conditon and the overall feel of the Subaru. Factors affecting this grade include the region of origin, smoker, pet owner and any other factor that materially impacts the finished product. Based upon this grade, Rex determines the extent of ReXtoration. Rex automatically correct all issues on an “A” vehicle and virtually all on a “B” car, but Rex will not correct small dings and cosmetic flaws on a “C.” Once you see our grade, you can then choose the right car for you. (A’s and B’s are for those who want the “new car” feel; C cars are popular as reliable work cars and cars for new drivers and college students.) Rex will not purchase or sell a car that does not meet one of the following criteria: A.Flawless condition, no signs of wear. Like-new. Returns based upon undisclosed damage or mechanical failure are subject to verification by an independant inspector. Customer must obtain return authorization prior to shipping vehicle back.
