This bike handles great, just about as close to a sport bike handles that you're going to get with a touring bike. BMW prides themselves on continually improving on their bikes. 2005 was the year that the 1200 RT replaced the 1150 RT. Saving 44 lbs and increasing power by 15% has made these one of the most sought after BMW bikes. This bike has 75,5XX miles on it but still rides like a bike with 10k on it. Fully functioning electric windshield blocks tons of air and can make a huge difference on those long rides. This would be a great bike for anyone that wants a little more storage for taking things to work or for someone that wants to do some touring on those thrilling switchbacks. There are a few chips in the paint from 75k miles of running on the road but other than that this one is in excellent shape.
