The TR-6 was the most popular model of the TR line-up. They were the last of the iconic open roadsters that were iconic of British motoring cars. They all featured the ever-popular inline 6 cylinder and all US cars were carbureted unlike the rest of cars for UK and other world markets that were fuel injected. They were mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a posi-trac rear end. They also featured front disc brakes, independent rear suspension and rack and pinion steering. This Classic TR6 is black with a black interior. This Triumph is ready to be driven and enjoyed! Extremely clean little car, rust free, drives and handles great. Listing for a friend, was his wives car, selling for medical reasons. Various parts has been restored due to lack of use, steering rubber bushings, clutch parts, etc. I, being very meticulous, have looked the car over and have found only a few cosmetic things, there is a small tare in the canvas top approximately 1" long that could easily be repaired , also a small door ding by the front headlight almost not noticeable , some tares in the leather that wraps the top of the gear shift knob, all which can be seen from the photos. other than these few things, even after driving the car i would assume the car would have been in a garage from the day it was new, then again I'm no expert on these cars. However it looks to me like a car I would see at a car show, or in a show room of some kind.
