This is a 1975 Suzuki RE5. 94XX original miles. It has a nice repaint in base clear coat DuPont with some blue metal flake added. Has lower type "M" handle bars, taller rear shock, one off Yoshimura exhaust system, "modern" sport tires (300 miles since new) K&N custom air intake and the foot pegs have been lowered a little over 1 inch for more leg room. The bike runs good, no smoke and no noises, has a slight hesitation that most RE5's have between primary and secondary butterfly's opening. Not bad but it is there. May need a little more work with jetting on the carburetor and a complete set of jets in included with the bike. I have the service manual and owners manual for the bike also included. The bike does need a new battery. Everything on the bike works except for the temp gauge, I have changed the gauge out and it does the same thing so it must be the sender, they are still available for sale. Brakes are good, new brake hoses installed as well as new fork seals last year. Has rare RED rear turn-signal lenses installed. The clear gauge lens cover is "crazed" is still sound but it does not look all that nice. All aluminum could use a polish or ride as is. This is not a 100 point show bike, it is a very nice rider. I have the original air intake pipe, hose and airbox to go with the sale. NOTE the picture of the gas tank has a smudge on it, there is nothing wrong with the paint.
