THE SNOW IS HERE!! Are you going to wait yet another season without a nice driver or will you pull the trigger on this awesome AWD Ultimate Driving Machine?!? NO RESERVE!! Beautiful car. Is it meticulous? Nope. Is it mechanically proper? Yep. Wagon versions of these cars are hard to come by. People hold on to them for good reason. You know this otherwise you wouldn't be looking! Things I look for on these versions: clear clean plastic headlight lenses? Check. Bumper covers nice and minimally damaged or free from damages? Check. Hood have typical minimal rockchips? Check. Clean vibration free factory wheels with minimal, if any, blemishes? Check. Tires matching and solid? Check. Nice 70+% tread left on the Continentals, I might add! The exterior is surprisingly straight with only a handful of doordings. Paint looks great and shines nicely sporting minimal typical scratches and scuffs. BUT....there are some typical rust bubbles mainly along the interior door sills. Along with a few other spots I will try and point out. Absolutely no holes or chunks missing. All repairable if desired. Remember...this car is a driver..you drive this car TO the car show, NOT enter it in one! Above you can see the only noticable dent in the car, the tailgate. Below is probably the worst visible rust area. Easily sanded and touched up if you take some time to do so. Below you can see on the corner below the taillight another small rust spot. Bumper cover looks great with minimal scuffs and no damages. Below 2 small tiny bubbles. The interior more than makes up for the exterior. Beautiful to say the least. Easy 9 out of 10. Carpet looks great. Headliner looks great. Leather looks great. No holes or damages to be found. Driver's bolster looks great with minimal wear. Steering wheel has minimal wear. I hate smoke and I don't see or smell any signs of a former smoker. Car is loaded up with all the power goodies. From what I can tell everything works as it should: power roof, mirrors, windows, locks, steering wheel controls, HOT heated twin power seats, Air Conditioning (obviously with it being 20 degrees out I can't verify it's coldness but it blows cold), hot heat, digital info panel, digital climate control, TRAC control, ABS, Sportshift transmission, cruise, AM/FM/CD Player, etc!! The ONLY complaint I have about the car is the driver's exterior door lock/tumbler just turns, not actuating lock or unlock. As if the arm has come off inside the door. Push the button inside and it locks/unlocks. The car also seems to have an alarm and/or remote starter hooked up. You can eliminate the need to fix the tumbler by finding the proper remote for the system that is installed and enjoy keyless entry! Above and below you can see ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup with NONE staying on during run. No overheating. No issues. No problems. I've logged well over 200 miles on the car with no worries. Don't look at the mileage and you will never tell. Drives like one half it's age. This car was about $40k new give or take. Now you can buy it for a fraction of that with NO RESERVE! Stare very closely above and you can see the typical BMW rust bubbles along the door sill on the edge of the black plastic guard. Rear seating looks great as well! Factory rear cargo cover is intact along with the factory full sized spare. SUPER strong battery easily started the car after sitting for over a week in SUB-zero weather conditions. Above you can see the worst of the door sill rust bubbles. Again, sand em down and touch em up. Done. This car was definitely a mom-mobile. I found a few crayons in the center console! The complete factory manuals, extra dome light bulbs, radio code, etc are included. Only one key is present with no keyfob. No factory floormats come with the car...As you know, these were the ONE item that never held up in a BMW very well. The engine compartment, aside a little dust, is super clean. The engine fires right up and runs smoothly. Very powerful as well. Transmission shifts as it should in every (5 speed auto) gear. The oil and coolant is clean with no signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. Nothing on my shop floor overnight. All exterior lighting works. Exhaust is quiet. Upon inspection, it looks as if the rear struts have been recently replaced along with the right front passenger CV halfshaft. Suspension is tight and squeak/rattle free. No popping or other noises. Car drives super straight on any pavement. No tire noises. No vibrations. Brakes are strong and will throw you thru the dash if needed, altho the rears (probably from sitting parked) have a tiny amount of pulsing and noise. After driving the car, it seems to go away a bit after use but will probably need servicing in a few months. Yes you can purchase brake parts over the counter of any of your favorite auto parts stores for this car. As with ALL my sales, this car is ready to go!! Inspect my excellent feedbacks. BID, BUY, and DRIVE this car ANYWHERE with 100% CONFIDENCE!! I have, now it's your turn. NO RESERVE!! GOOD LUCK!! I apologize in advance if I sound like I'm scolding....but this NEEDS to be said. This vehicle is AS-IS/AS-SHOWN. The vehicle is in Illinois being sold by a dealer. There are many great affordable aftermarket warranty companies out there that will warranty nearly anything. Use them. WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE for your individual state's INSPECTION or EMISSIONS compliance. I am simply trying to offer you and possibly your family a quality reliable vehicle. Like most Americans, I still can't afford a new car. I regularly sell $3000-$6000 vehicles. Mostly what I would personally drive or own. I don't know if you are buying in my state or in Virginia or California...so I HAVE to make our cars ready for the road trip. I don't know who will be driving the car. So I MUST make it ready for your teen or your job in the morning. I can only promise I do the BEST that I can with what I have and what I sell. My EXCELLENT FEEDBACKS prove it. I'm not here to rip people off. I'm also here to help so feel free to contact me after purchase for anything. Even if you have any questions about a future purchase. Also, understand that I spend many countless hours (inspecting, repairing, cleaning, taking pics and writing specific personal ads) for everything I sell...not to mention the $125 sell fee that is charged to me at the end. Please don't jack around if you don't plan to go thru with the purchase. Thanks for your understanding. Now you're at the bottom. Hopefully I've covered the main specifics of the vehicle and eased your mind with the thought of buying off the internet. I understand that you are putting yourself or your loved ones in this vehicle. If I haven't covered any of your questions or concerns, please feel free to email or call me at 815.744.7223. My name is Eric. Nearly ALL my car auctions are NO RESERVE. Absolute sales every time. There is no benefit for me to end auctions early. I do NOT "show" my cars while they are listed and only the winner of the auction gains access to vehicle. I simply don't have time for people's schedules, giving directions, waiting around, tire kicking and lowball offers. BID TO BUY, if you don't, another surely will! Venue of sale is Will County, Illinois. ALL BUYERS are responsible for $99 DOC fee. ALL ILLINOIS BUYERS responsible for 7% sales tax, $101 License Plate fee (or $25 current valid plate transfer fee), $95 Title fee. ALL COOK COUNTY (Chicago area) BUYERS responsible for 8.25% sales tax. There are 8 other states that I (unfortunately) have to collect tax (AZ,CA,FL,HI,IN,MA,MI,SC)....but it's usually at a discount vs. regular in state. Vehicle is sold AS-IS/AS-SHOWN with no warranty expressed or implied. Please follow deposit and payment instructions posted. I have a $500 deposit within 24 hours posted because if you are bidding, you should be in the position to pay. Variations can be made on a case by case basis but Cash in person is preferred payment. After full payment is made, you will receive vehicle (as shown/stated in this ad), title, associated paperwork and key(s). If you need to fly into the state, please use O'hare (ORD) or Midway (MDW) then utilize the super cheap transit system into Chicago to the train stations (Union or LaSalle St). Then ride a commuter METRA train from Chicago into Joliet's Union Station. These trains run about every 1.5 hours thru the day. Total travel cost is about $10 and a couple hours time. HUGELY less than my cost of time, fuel and tolls to come get you. You can find the schedule info online Metrarail.com. If flying isn't your thing, and you have more time than money, try Amtrak.com and get yourself into Joliet, IL Union Station. I will pick you up for free in Joliet! On Jan-14-14 at 13:25:40 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE! UPDATE!! UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!!! BONUS: I went in and dropped the Remote Start unit I spoke of above determined to find another key stashed (you have to use an extra key due to the key having a transponder chip inside of it to trick the car into starting under remote start)...and I was right!! Why they didn't use the factory GRAY valet key instead of the keyless key, I don't know. But now you have 2!! Hop on over to your local watch shop, install a fresh battery and your keyless entry issue is essentially solved! For the records, the remote starter unit is a Viper (DEI Product) 130-XV with the lock/unlock relays connected. Get a replacement remote and program it. You will then have remote start/keyless again there too!! Your welcome ;-)
