1972 Triumph TR6 Solid, beautiful car that runs and drives great. Good body/paint, very strong engine, no smoke, good oil pressure, nice interior. Non-overdrive 4 speed trans. Over $6,000 in servicing and new/rebuilt parts installed within the last 500 miles: Engine - 95 amp alternator - gear reduction high-torque starter - stainless steel oil gauge line - spin on oil-filter adapter - valve rocker shaft Drive Train - u-joints (drive shaft and rear axle shafts) - rear differential seals - rear differential mounts - rear differential mount reinforcement kit - drive shaft balanced - clutch master and slave cylinders - clutch hose Cooling System - hoses/clamps - belt Brakes - brake master cylinder - front brake pads and rotors - rebuilt brake booster - rear drums and new shoes - rebuilt PDWA switch - rear wheel cylinders - front and rear brake hoses Ignition and fuel system - points, plugs, condenser, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor - Stromberg carburetor bypass valves, diaphrams and needle o-rings Suspension and Steering - springs front & rear - upper ball joints, lower trunnions, outer tie-rod ends and bushings - steering rack mounts - steering inner column bushings - front shocks - front wheel bearings - trailing arm bushes Miscellaneous - tires Yokohama P205/70R15 - window lift mechanism and channels - window washer motor and tubing - wiper wheebox fitting kit - wiper blades - exhaust pipes, clamps and hangers - engine, transmission and rear differential oil changed Cannot confirm/verify mileage shown on the odometer - 75K miles. Chrome bumpers show some fading. Right rear bumper corner has very small dent. Convertible top tight, some snaps don't reach. Some rust damage in the last 12" of the frame at the back end and outriggers - Both were repaired by a previous owner. See pictures for details. A local British Car repair shop inspected the frame repairs and said it was solid. As an added bonus, a spare frame (already painted) and non-OD transmission (condition unknown) goes with the TR6 to the winning bidder.
