Up for auction is a very rare and desirable 1971 Challenger R/T Special. This is A NUMBERS MATCHING, BOX "A" TITLE, ORIGINAL MILES CAR! The car is in very good driver quality condition, but is also a very solid Arizona Car that would make an incredible restoration Car. I have driven the car and it runs and drives GREAT. The car shifts perfectly, brakes work great, there are no drivabilty issues. This car has great driver quaility paint! ( By driver quality I mean not perfect) the paint is very deep and shines well. The interior is clean with no rips or tears (someone painted the lower dash and guage cluster) , and everything works except the factory Tach. The car has ZERO RUST ANYWHERE.. The doors open and close smoothly and tight. The A/C and factory shifter are not in the car, but do come with the car, also the factory steering wheel will come with the car (it is in decent shape with some cracks on the wheel. The A/C that comes with the car is the box, pulleys, and duct work. There is no compressor or lines. The factory shifter is disassembled and in rough shape. The car has an aftermarket distributor but the factory one comes with the car. There is obviously an aftermarket dual carb intake and carbs. on this car and unfortunately he does not have the factory intake or carb. Overall this is a great car that someone could drive to any show and be proud or someone could restore this car and have a very rare original mile numbers matching Challenger R/T.. I have sold several cars on Ebay and just as many that people have purchased after auction end, I have never had 1 complaint about description, in fact everyone says I under discribe the car. I have had a few people ask what is wrong with the car due to low price and no reserve. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car if what you are looking for is a very cool entry level show car or an above average quality driver car. The reason for the starting bid is that I hate bidding on a car only to end up chasing a never reachable reserve. I would hopr that regardless of starting bid that the car will sell for its true value. I have also had people ask why I am selling this for a friend and what the other cars in the background are. I build show quality muscle cars as well as very high end driver cars. I was going to buy this car from my friend but once getting the car, I realized that it is too nice to tear apart for me and I am not a Mopar Purist that would love to restore this car.
