An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Toyota Camry CE with the desirable 2.2L engine and manual transmission. The Toyota Camry needs no introduction. Its reputation as a well built, reliable and economical automobile are known worldwide. I would rate the exterior of this Camry to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking Toyota. The maroon paint shines nicely and looks good all around. As you'd expect with any older vehicle, please expect to find small blemishes commensurate with age and mileage such as scratches, scuffs, chips and dings. The only noteworthy damage is a broken parking light lens. The doors, hood and trunk all open / close easily. The alloy wheels aren't perfect but are acceptable for the age of the vehicle. The tires show decent tread all around. Overall, this is a good looking car for its age. I would rate the interior of this Camry to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior is very clean. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are full looking and show well throughout the interior. The dash is clean and free of cracks or fading. The headliner is clean and tight. The cloth seats are clean and comfortable throughout the interior. The power windows, locks and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The stereo powers up and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The trunk is clean and spacious. This Camry comes with a full set of books as well as the original window sticker! Mechanically, this Camry appears to be in good running and driving condition. The reliable 2.2L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels solid and well sorted but you can hear some noise in the rear bushings...which is common for Camry's as they age. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this car with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are nice and easy. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This is the first year of this body style but the reliable engine and transmission are still the same as they've been since the Camry was introduced. I've personally owned these cars with mileage up into the high 200's. By the third generation, Toyota had refined and upgraded nearly everything about the Camry but still kept with this engine because it is a fantastic engine. All told, the Toyota 2.2L is probably one of the most widely used and longest running engines ever made with maybe the only exceptions being the small block Ford and Chevy V8's that found their way into nearly everything for 40 years... The suspension feels solid and well sorted but you can hear some noise in the rear bushings...which is common for Camry's as they age. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this car with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are nice and easy. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This is the first year of this body style but the reliable engine and transmission are still the same as they've been since the Camry was introduced. I've personally owned these cars with mileage up into the high 200's. By the third generation, Toyota had refined and upgraded nearly everything about the Camry but still kept with this engine because it is a fantastic engine. All told, the Toyota 2.2L is probably one of the most widely used and longest running engines ever made with maybe the only exceptions being the small block Ford and Chevy V8's that found their way into nearly everything for 40 years... Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
