Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a very nice 91 Toyota Corolla that just came up from Richmond, VA and was traded in at a Toyota new car dealership. This car has had the same owner for quite a few years, and judging by the condition of the car and the stack of service records in the glove box, this owner took good care of the car. Since this was a southern car, it has very little of the rust that normally took these cars off the road long before the engine or transmission wore out. As you can see in the pictures, the body of this car is in good condition for the age and mileage. It has a few blemishes as you'd expect, but nothing major. All the lights and glass are in good shape. The tires are a nearly new matched set with all season tread. There is a full set of Toyota hubcaps. The tan and brown interior is likewise in good condition for the age. The seats are comfortable and have no holes. The carpets and headliner are in good shape. The dash and door panels are clean and firmly attached. There is a faint smell of cigarettes, but no pet odors. The factory stereo works. The windows open and close easily. The heater, fans, and A/C work. This car runs and drives well. The little 1.6L four cylinder makes good power and gets excellent fuel economy. This is the perfect around-town car. The automatic transmission shifts well. The steering and suspension are in good shape. It drives straight as an arrow down the highway and it does not shake, wobble, or pull. The brakes stop the car well. There are no check engine lights. Toyota built their reputation for well built, inexpensive cars on models like this Corolla. We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
