1987 BUICK PARK AVENUE 3800 series V6 NO RESERVE GREAT PROJECT CAR or PARTS CAR BONANZA! Bought new by relative who owned the car for most of it's 89K miles. Car was then driven on one long distance trip with absolutely no problems. After a few hundred more miles, it began showing transmission slippage. Car sat for a period and was subsequently tuned up and revamped - fuel system, brake system, cooling system all received a complete overhaul along with a major tune-up. Transmission was addressed with a new trans filter and new transmission hoses. Brake system included all new brake lines, new calipers (front), rebuilt drums (rear) with new cylinders, shoes etc., new master cylinder, new pads, etc. Fuel system included all new lines, fuel pump, filters, etc. Cooling system was fully revamped with an extensive flushing of the radiator (no leaks), all new hoses and water pump. The tune up included a new starter, plugs, wires, filters, etc. Recently, a ton of new parts were added to the car, including but definitely not limited to multiple sensors - cam sensor, crank position sensor, oxygen sensor, electronic control module, plus much more.... THE GOOD SUPER SMOOTH RIDING LUXURY - Fully loaded Park Avenue edition with comfy seats & super smooth ride. A ton of new parts were added to the car within the last 500 miles. The velvety Blue Velour interior is super lush and comfortable and presents almost like new Tires are low mileage and have minimal wear. Body is in good condition - a solid 10 footer, no extensive damage, just minor nicks would rate at 7/10 THE BAD Transmission needs work - most likely just the clutch packs. It may be drivable, but must be towed away- no exceptions!!! The engine now runs intermittently. Ran great after tune up, currently appears not to have fuel going to it. THE UGLYThe clear coat did not want to stay on the roof or trunk - not noticeable from a few feet away. Troublesome teenage neighbor took a pellet gun to the windshield at point blank range, creating a nick that has since developed into a foot long horizontal crack in the windshield. NOTE: photo of engine was taken prior to much of the tune up and replacement parts. TERMS: The car is being sold as is, with no warranty whatsoever.
