An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very nice 1984 Buick Skylark Limited. This little Buick has had the same lady owner since 1989. It appears to have been garage kept. I would rate the exterior of this Skylark to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle. The body looks to be in good condition. Everything lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and truck all open/close easily. The finish shows a little fade as you'd expect for an original car of 30 years. The chrome trim shows well. The vynil top is in excellent condition. The wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber. I would rate the interior of this Skylark to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The pillow top velour seats show well and are comfortable. As with nearly every older GM car, the headliner is loose and has been tacked up. The dash is clean. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The climate control system appears to be in working order. Although nicely appointed, the interior is pretty basic in its nature. Mechanically, this Skylark appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L four cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The valve cover has a GM Remanufactured Engine sticker but I cannot see a date or mileage. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. When you first start it, the steering has some hard spots but is normal once warm. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this vehicle with no issues. The suspension feels nice and tight. The engine seems to run well and makes good power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts well. For an old car, she gets down the road pretty well. I cannot remember the last time I've seen one of these...let alone in this condition. This looks to be a "little old lady car".
