Here is a very nice and tasteful, original, Garage kept, 100% complete 1941 Chevy Special Deluxe Coupe, which I am selling for a good friend.This old car Starts on the first turn and runs perfectly smooth and fires on all 6 cylinders. The motor has a new water pump and tune up, the carb. idles perfectly smooth. The motor is dry underneath, no oil leaks, or coolant leaks. There are no out of the ordinary noises, or smoke whatsoever coming from the motor. The motor was completely rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago. The interior is the original and beginning to show a little wear, but still very presentable and comfortable. All the glass is in excellent condition, no bubbles, chips, cracks, or foggy edges. The original body panels are perfectly straight, no dents, no bondo, or rust patches. The doors open and close perfect, the windows go up and down just the way they were designed to function. The heat and defrost works, the gauges all work correct, fuel gauge, water temp. gauge, battery charges correct and oil pressure gauge works correct. The exterior lights work, tail lights, brake lights. The head lights and park lights work. I haven't seen the turn lights work, maybe a fuse, or wire not connected? The dash lights work. The old girl drives and stops great, the steering is tight with no excessive play and steers very easy. The trans is quiet, the shifter is tight and shifts with your pinky finger. The clutch is tight, no slipping, or clutch chatter. The floor pans, body mounts and floor braces are the original 100% rust free metal. This car has not been patched anywhere, the car still retains all it's original sheet metal, most likely one of the last original rust free 1941 model cars left anywhere in the Country. The stainless is in perfect condition, no dings, scuffs, or scratches, the chrome is in exceptional condition. The tires are near 80% tread left.
