My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honstly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions cafefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very clean 2000 Volvo S80. The S80 is the flag ship of the Volvo brand and has an excellent reputation for reliablilty, luxury and unparallelled safety. I would rate the exterior of this S80 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this S80 shows very well. The black finish shows well and looks great. There are a few scratches and blemishes to be found on the exterior of this Volvo, as you'd expect on a vehicle of this age. All of the trim is tight. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The headlights are crystal clear and light up the road very well. The alloy wheels show well, too. The tires have good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this S80 is. I would rate the interior of this S80 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The cup holder cover is missing...which is normal. All of the interior trim is nice and tight. The power windows, locks and sunroof all work properly. The leather seats are supple and comfortable. A full set of manuals are included with this Volvo. The audio system is original and sounds great. It offers CD, cassette and steering wheel controls. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heat works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Both front seats are power operated for your comfort. Pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running condition. The 2.9L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are very good. The suspension feels tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this luxury sedan with no issues. The engine makes good power and runs well. She keeps proper temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. The "engine system service required" message comes on sometimes. I've not seen it before but some quick google research tells me it is a random message that comes on for the dumbest thing. It is NOT a check engine light and it does not affect the car. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight. The only complaint I have is a that the ETM occationally acts up...which is common with older S80's. This S80 has been my personal vehicle for the last week. I've used it for Thanksgiving travels as well as my usual errands and a family trip to Washington DC and back so I've personally put a few hundred miles on this Volvo with no complaints. It has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through 10-2014. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honstly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions cafefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very clean 2000 Volvo S80. The S80 is the flag ship of the Volvo brand and has an excellent reputation for reliablilty, luxury and unparallelled safety. I would rate the exterior of this S80 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this S80 shows very well. The black finish shows well and looks great. There are a few scratches and blemishes to be found on the exterior of this Volvo, as you'd expect on a vehicle of this age. All of the trim is tight. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The headlights are crystal clear and light up the road very well. The alloy wheels show well, too. The tires have good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this S80 is.
I would rate the interior of this S80 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The cup holder cover is missing...which is normal. All of the interior trim is nice and tight. The power windows, locks and sunroof all work properly. The leather seats are supple and comfortable. A full set of manuals are included with this Volvo. The audio system is original and sounds great. It offers CD, cassette and steering wheel controls. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heat works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Both front seats are power operated for your comfort. Pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running condition. The 2.9L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are very good. The suspension feels tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this luxury sedan with no issues. The engine makes good power and runs well. She keeps proper temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. The "engine system service required" message comes on sometimes. I've not seen it before but some quick google research tells me it is a random message that comes on for the dumbest thing. It is NOT a check engine light and it does not affect the car. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight. The only complaint I have is a that the ETM occationally acts up...which is common with older S80's. This S80 has been my personal vehicle for the last week. I've used it for Thanksgiving travels as well as my usual errands and a family trip to Washington DC and back so I've personally put a few hundred miles on this Volvo with no complaints. It has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through 10-2014. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

By placing a bid on our auction, you assert that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions as well as eBay's Terms & Conditions; you assert that you understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle; and you assert that you have asked all questions PRIOR to placing your bid. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time, while the auction is live or after the auction closes. The seller may, at its sole discretion, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on this or future auctions.
Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
