Bring $1250 cash, get a truck. Up for sale for only $1250 is a 93 Chevy C1500 half-ton pickup. This two wheel drive pickup has Chevy’s bulletproof TBI 305 V8 backed by an automatic transmission with overdrive. This truck runs and drives well and has current PA annual safety and emissions inspections good through the end of June 2014. As you can see in the pictures, this truck has the usual old Chevy truck paint peeling and fading. There is very little obvious rust though, just some below the doors and on the cab extension rocker panels. She might not be the prettiest truck, but she feels good and solid still. The bed has a heavy plastic liner and the tailgate opens and closes easily. This truck has factory chrome wheels and a hitch. The interior of this truck has the usual wear for an older truck. The carpets and seats have a few stains, but not huge holes. The headliner has fallen and been removed. The dash is in good shape, not cracked up. The door panels have usual missing trim on the door pulls. This truck has a rear seat, but the front seats do not fold forward anymore, so it is difficult for a person to get in the back. It is still quite convenient to be able to store things back there. The heater works well. The windows crank up and down easily. The aftermarket stereo works. The V8 engine in this truck fires up easily and makes good power. This engine has a good amount of torque for its size. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The steering is a little loose, as you expect in an older truck, but it doesn’t wobble or wander. The suspension is in good shape. The brakes stop well. This pick-up gets down the highway well. This truck may not be a beauty pageant winner, but if you need a basic, inexpensive pick-up with a current inspection, it is hard to beat.
