This is a Very Special 911E coupe, matching numbers with low miles . The 69 911E shows only 39,500 miles on the car and was built for street performance with matching number MFI engine 2.0 built ou to 2.2 liters with only 2,000 miles on the build , this is a very smooth running engine , like a 2.2 S with more low end .The body and pans are perfect . The original color 6853 Metalic Blue paint w.as re sprayed by Anton of Sonoma and custom pin stripping by Tommy Castro very nice older paint ( 20 years) and it is great condition for its age ( there are a few small flaws) , but the car looks great and the stripping is above the clear ).The interior is excellent with Leather sport recarro seats , RS door panels and new RS type carpets. Headliner is fine and dash is not cracked. ( we do have the original seats front and rear in perfect condition if you rather) The engine is matching # 6290362 was built by Bruse 20 years ago . And now was rebuilt ,blueprinted balanced , ported heads and brought out to a 2.2 liter Less then 100 miles on the fresh engine . The MFI pump was upgraded and set of for the special cams and bigger bore , so she runs great and fast. The 5 speed was rebuilt, 911S clutch and front cooler were installed. All the suspension was re- worked for performance and this car handles great. It has stainless steel gun drilled torsion Bars , adjustable spring plates , 911S brakes with alum calipers , koni shocks , double adjustable front & rear sway bars and 7&8" fuchs wheels with Real RS steel flares, all the good stuff also advised and helped to set up Bruce Anderson and done well . Bruce is best known as author of The Porsche 911 Performance Handbook and a hands on Porsche mechanic/ racer. When I bought the car , we towed it back to the shop checked it out before trying to start it up . Then we removed the engine transmission and fuel tank . cleaned the tank , took the MFI pump to Pacific Fuel injection and had it cleaned and adjusted. We replace all the fuel lines, rebuilt the fuel pump , did a leak down test ( was fine) adjusted the valves and tuned up the engine and reinstalled it, yes we did put a new clutch disc in. We also bleed the brake system and replace the lines ( steel Braided). new batteries and now the car runs great and drives great. So if you want a very cool and fast early 911E here is your chance.
