Vehicle Detail
for sale is a 1969 Camaro project car, lots of work done original 4 speed , v-8, disc brake, Daytona yellow car. Norwood car so don't know if it was an original ss or z-28 car. still has the original proportioning valve and master cylinder, mostly complete except no motor or transmission, no rear bumper, front clip is a remarkably clean and rustfree original piece except a small amount on the lower passenger fender(inner structure is mint) Body work done to car was by a professional body shop and was done beautifully. new NOS rockers on each side, new 100% NOS drivers side rear quarter, front windshield bottom was replaced, rear window is rust free, roof is rust free, trunk floor has two small patches, on the front area, drivers door has rust in the corners, passenger door is rust free, drivers floor was replaced passenger floor was repaired in the very front toe board area and a small patch under the back seat, all work is done right and is done, hood has some small waves in it, trunk lid is very nice and has an original spoiler on it. passenger rear quarter has some rust as seen in the pictures, Front subframe was taken all apart and blasted and painted and has new original bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, bearings, rotors and calipers, not after market but all original type parts, Like new tires all around, rare 14x7 disc brake rallys on the front and 15x7 rallys on the rear, all glass is good except drivers rear window is broken, front windshield has a small crack in lower corner, Needs rear brakes done. 10 bolt rear end. Interior is original and is very nice, door panels and back seat are near mint front seats need small repairs, Needs rust repair in the shock towers and the rear frame rails and rear fender wells. Overall a very nice project car with a lot of work done and done right. Huge potential with a very reasonable reserve. On Oct-28-13 at 07:49:09 PDT, seller added the following information: when the front windshield bottom section was replaced the under support was in good condition the rusted area went thru the top layer of sheetmetal only, it was cut out and new repair panel was installed looks perfect zero bondo used. It was pointed out to me that norwood cars did have an x code so car is probably not an ss or z28 car, but still a rare model with disc brakes and 4 speed, thanks On Oct-28-13 at 15:56:22 PDT, seller added the following information: apparently a base Camaro was a x44, so without a x code on the cowl tag there is no way to tell if this was a ss or z28 car originally, which is what I thought and stated initially. it may have been one of those but I did not see a mount for the rear traction bar which those cars would have probably had , that's all I know
