I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1996 Saturn SL2. The Saturn S series vehicles are one of my favorite small cars. They are roomy for a small car. They are light, economical and reliable. I would rate the exterior of this Saturn to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. The only damage to report is a small piece of the left fender that has cracked off. The alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber. The hood, doors and trunk open and close easily. Everything lines up nice and straight. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The optional rear spoiler gives this sedan a sporty look. I would rate the interior of this Saturn SL2 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains and light soiling but nothing unusual for its age. The seats are clean and comfortable. This is a fairly well optioned Saturn. The power windows all work properly. The power locks do not work. The stereo is original and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The original owners manual is included, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. These older Saturns are very simple automobiles...which is why they are so desirable. Mechanically, this SL2 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.9L DOHC engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight for an older vehicle. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. The engine makes good power and runs smoothly. These cars are easily good for mid-upper 30's on the highway and mid-upper 20's around town. There have been no warning lights on. The engine keeps proper temperature at all times. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. These cars are simple, reliable and economical. They are easy on gas and cheap to maintain. Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
