For Auction: 1948 Willys CJ-2A. Older Restoration. The Good: The Motor is a Reman and all original. The picture shows 40 - 50 lbs. of Oil Pressure at idle. It has New deep lug, 6 ply, McCreary Tires worth $700.00. The Gas Tank has been replaced and the Seats have been reupholstered. The Clutch & Pressure Plate have less than 200 miles. The Starter and Fuel pump are new and the Transfer Case has been rebuilt. It's been converted to a 12 Volt System. It Steers straight with no wobbles, has been Garage Kept and hasn't seen Rain or Snow for the last 10yrs (as long as I've owned it). The Bad: The front Brake Cylinders are leaking and should be replaced. It needs an Exhaust system and it jumps out of 2nd Gear. The Lights (headlights and brake lights) did work, but don't now and the VIN Plate has been lost from age and vibration. It leaks a little Oil (like any Willys) and the Rear Springs are a little rusty. This is a great starter 2A for a perfect final build. I don't use it much or have time to fix the small things it needs, so I'd rather sell it to someone who will appreciate it. I have the Title, Original Bill of Sale and Receipts.
