Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. In the 90's, Jeep made a few special edition models. The 5.9 Limited is my favorite. Produced only in 1998, the 5.9 Limited was the highest trim level offered in a Grand Cherokee. The common misconception is that the 5.9 Limited is just a Grand Cherokee with a bid engine. It is far more. The most obvious way to distinguish a 5.9 versus a regular Grand Cherokee Limited is the functional heat extracting louvers on the hood and the 5.9 specific alloy wheels. More subtle exterior give aways are a honey comb design in the grill, contoured side skirts and a lower profile roof rack. There is more under the hood than just a 360ci V8. The 5.9 Limited has electric fans, a higher output alternator and better cooling. The transmission and transfer case are upgraded to handle the extra power...which means these don't suffer from the usual transmission issues associated with the Grand Cherokee. Inside, the upgrades are everywhere. The 5.9 Limited comes with a more powerful stereo with soundbar, special wood accents, calf grain leather seats with rear fold down arm rest as well as real leather shifter handles and center arm rest (versus plastic for all other Grand Cherokees). The Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited is one of the most desirable models ever made. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The 5.9 Limited was only made in three colors...and black is my favorite. As you can see, this is a good looking Jeep. Like with any older vehicle, please expect to find small scratches, scrapes and other minor blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. The only noteworthy damage is a more noticeable scrape over the left rear wheel (although it is hard to see, it is there). Everything on the body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and rear gate all open and close easily. The finish has a deep shine all around. I did not see any body rust on this Grand Cherokee. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The 5.9 specific Ultrastar alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in about $1,200 worth of Toyo off road performance tires with good tread all around. These Jeeps are getting hard to find with low miles. I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this truck. As you can see, the interior shows very well. The leather door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are full looking and clean throughout the interior. The special calf grain leather seats are comfortable and show very well for their age. The dash is clean and the headliner is NOT sagging. The special wood trim shows well throughout the interior. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The sunroof does not open. The cargo area is spacious and clean. It includes the original retracting cargo cover as well as the leather spare tire cover. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo system is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with cassette and CD. The radio doesn't seem to want to pick up stations (maybe a loose antenna) but the speakers sound good when you put a CD in. There are steering wheel controls for the 180 watt audio system. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 360ci V8 engine starts easily and idles smoothly with a throaty growl. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. One of the accessories in the belt system is making a little noise. It isn't anything that would keep me from driving it...just keep an eye on it. The engine makes good oil pressure and keeps perfect temperature. There have been no warning lights on. The front end feels pretty good. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this SUV with no issues. The engine makes excellent power. The heavy duty 46RE automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. For an SUV, this thing really goes! They are rated at 245hp/345tq and they aren't kidding. These go 0-60 about as fast as a Mustang GT of the same year. I have literally bought every single Grand Cherokee 5.9L that I see and I am very familiar with how these drive. If you've never driven one, the performance is respectable. What may be more important than embarrassing that kid up the street with the Civic, is the extraordinary towing ability of these trucks. They have a whopping 345ft/lb of torque with the upgraded 46RE trans and heavy duty NV249 Quadra-Trac transfer case to back it up. The 5.9 Limited is the toughest Grand Cherokee of this generation and it shows. This Jeep has a current PA safety and emissions inspection, too. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. In the 90's, Jeep made a few special edition models. The 5.9 Limited is my favorite. Produced only in 1998, the 5.9 Limited was the highest trim level offered in a Grand Cherokee. The common misconception is that the 5.9 Limited is just a Grand Cherokee with a bid engine. It is far more. The most obvious way to distinguish a 5.9 versus a regular Grand Cherokee Limited is the functional heat extracting louvers on the hood and the 5.9 specific alloy wheels. More subtle exterior give aways are a honey comb design in the grill, contoured side skirts and a lower profile roof rack. There is more under the hood than just a 360ci V8. The 5.9 Limited has electric fans, a higher output alternator and better cooling. The transmission and transfer case are upgraded to handle the extra power...which means these don't suffer from the usual transmission issues associated with the Grand Cherokee. Inside, the upgrades are everywhere. The 5.9 Limited comes with a more powerful stereo with soundbar, special wood accents, calf grain leather seats with rear fold down arm rest as well as real leather shifter handles and center arm rest (versus plastic for all other Grand Cherokees). The Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited is one of the most desirable models ever made.
I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The 5.9 Limited was only made in three colors...and black is my favorite. As you can see, this is a good looking Jeep. Like with any older vehicle, please expect to find small scratches, scrapes and other minor blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. The only noteworthy damage is a more noticeable scrape over the left rear wheel (although it is hard to see, it is there). Everything on the body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and rear gate all open and close easily. The finish has a deep shine all around. I did not see any body rust on this Grand Cherokee. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The 5.9 specific Ultrastar alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in about $1,200 worth of Toyo off road performance tires with good tread all around. These Jeeps are getting hard to find with low miles.
I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this truck. As you can see, the interior shows very well. The leather door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are full looking and clean throughout the interior. The special calf grain leather seats are comfortable and show very well for their age. The dash is clean and the headliner is NOT sagging. The special wood trim shows well throughout the interior. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The sunroof does not open. The cargo area is spacious and clean. It includes the original retracting cargo cover as well as the leather spare tire cover. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo system is the original Infinity Gold Premium Sound with cassette and CD. The radio doesn't seem to want to pick up stations (maybe a loose antenna) but the speakers sound good when you put a CD in. There are steering wheel controls for the 180 watt audio system.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 360ci V8 engine starts easily and idles smoothly with a throaty growl. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. One of the accessories in the belt system is making a little noise. It isn't anything that would keep me from driving it...just keep an eye on it. The engine makes good oil pressure and keeps perfect temperature. There have been no warning lights on. The front end feels pretty good. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this SUV with no issues. The engine makes excellent power.
The heavy duty 46RE automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. For an SUV, this thing really goes! They are rated at 245hp/345tq and they aren't kidding. These go 0-60 about as fast as a Mustang GT of the same year. I have literally bought every single Grand Cherokee 5.9L that I see and I am very familiar with how these drive. If you've never driven one, the performance is respectable. What may be more important than embarrassing that kid up the street with the Civic, is the extraordinary towing ability of these trucks. They have a whopping 345ft/lb of torque with the upgraded 46RE trans and heavy duty NV249 Quadra-Trac transfer case to back it up. The 5.9 Limited is the toughest Grand Cherokee of this generation and it shows. This Jeep has a current PA safety and emissions inspection, too. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
