the time has come to sell my 84 rabbit gti. im the second owner and never registered it its been in my garage for the past 17 years untouched and unmolested i had the intention of swapming motors and making it a show car but i have had way to many other projects that have been taking priority over the gti. this is the cleanest interior i have ever seen or ever owned ever and iv had over 10 vw rabbit in the past and have even sold a few in the past year on ebay since im slimming down my collection. sine iv owned it iv maybe put 200 miles over the years on her. starts right up every single time. everything in the car is orignal and never been touched. the seats have always been cover since day one and look brand new with no wear or cracks or not a single mark as u can see from the photos. everything works and operates like new with only 76xxx miles. paint needs to be polished up and it will be back to new since there is no clear coat on her she will shine right up. some minor dents and scratches but never in any accidents and never been painted or touched up anywhere. the grill is not original gti but has been painted to look the part. it has a very rare shadow on the rear windshield. in all my years of working on vws iv never ever come across one of these and have never seen one for sale. it looks stock from factory but as i said i havnt seen one so i dont know for sure. the headliner need work its sagging in a couple spots not it can be fixed or redone. over the years iv done alot of work on her on my spare time. new parts include new timing belt and tension bearing. new wheel bearing new brake booster new brake pads all around new fuel pump and fuel acllimator new injectors, new spark plugs, all this work was done this past month in order to sell with clear mind that person getting it is gonna be able to drive it with no issues. dont need any bad karma here. its an amazing rabbit in original shape for someone who needs a reliable daily that get great gas millage or for the restorer, good luck happy bidding feel free to contact me with any questions ohh ya and absolutely no rust for u east coast guys that love that stuff.
