per4max Store This Baby Blue, White Rim, Beauty was the most popular model color combination of the 1970's. Every Toyota showroom in the country had this color on their showroom floor. The 1978 brochure also featured this color. This was originally Baby Blue on the inside and out. Outside was painted about 3 years ago. Still perfect! Inside never repainted since new but still nice (see pictures). Original Headliner; Original Sun Visors; Original full cover floor matting; Original Upholstery; Original working Rear Heater (see pictures); Original dash and gauges. The only thing I know that is not original is the V8 engine. I purchased the vehicle as it sits know about 6 years ago. All I have ever done to the vehicle was to invest in a mechanical check-up by a local very reputable mechanic. I was told by the seller that the V8 was a 350 Ramjet but I do not have a clue. I am NOT a mechanic ... I am not much of a 'car guy' except I love to drive classics. I have loved Land Cruisers since my days in college when my football coach drove one on a daily basis. I am now 66 years old and done with any 'off-road' activity. I still drive 'Old Blue' (grand children's nick-name) to work once or twice a week just because it is such a head turner and frankly it reminds me of my youth. The drives seat needs new upholstery and the jump seats are starting to shoe upholstery wear but are still fine. The headliner is intact but clearly shows it's age ... no longer bright white. Weather stripping around doors still functional but worn. Bottom line, this treasure starts easily every time, runs great, gets terrible gas mileage, and rides like a skateboard on a cobblestone street ... but that is exactly what you want if your looking at buying this exceptional toy.
