With almost a quarter million sold in the US every year, these cars were the favorite of rental companies, government agencies, and anyone that wanted a straightforward, quality car at a good price. This Lumina has the 3.1L V6 engine, shared with a dozen other GM models. This mid-sized sedan has seating for six and all the little luxuries without any of the expensive gadgets of some newer cars. As you can see in the pictures, this Lumina is in quite nice shape for the age. I think this car has been parked under cover most of the time. The steel-blue paint looks good and has a nice metallic finish. There are a few dings and blemishes, but nothing major. The only spot of rust I see is just behind the rear wheel. The tires are a matched set of quality Firestone radials with deep tread. The interior is likewise in nice condition. The seats are comfortable and have no holes or tears. The headliner is not sagging. The carpets have a set of heavy rubber floormats as well as a set of carpeted mats in the truck. The dash and door panels are firmly attached and have no cracks. The carpets show a little dirt from normal wear, but nothing a thorough detailing wouldn't get out. The power windows, locks, and mirrors all work well. The factory upgraded stereo has good sound quality. The heater has dual zone temperature control for separate driver and passenger comfort. The heater works quite well. There is no smell of cigarettes or pet odors. Mechanically, this Chevy gets down the road well. The 3.1L V6 fires up easily and makes good power. There are no check engine lights. The transmission shifts reliably. The steering is straight and easy. The suspension is in good shape with no shakes or wobbles. There is a little bushing noise in the rear, especially when it is cold, but it doesn’t affect ride quality. The brakes stop well. I don’t see any smoke or active leaks. Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents. We cannot issue temp tags or collect sales tax for out of state buyers. If you need a temp tag, there is a location nearby that can issue one to you. We can assist you in that process.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
