This is a 1970 Buick Skylark 2 door hardtop. The paint and bodywork on the car is decent. The previous owner was an amateur, backyard body man. The car looks nice and would be considered a good "20 footer". The sheet metal is in good shape and there is no rust or rot. The car is originally from the Pacific N/W The car has a fiberglass cowl scoop molded to the factory steel hood. He had set the car up to be a Pro-Touring road racer. The interior is presentable and functional. The front seats are from an Acura and fit in the car well. The door panels are homemade but the car does come with brand new PUI reproduction door panels that are still in the original boxes. The rug doesn't fit over the trans hump very well and I would recommend getting a replacement. Interior has an 8 point roll cage with Simpson 4 point safety harnesses installed. Engine is a 350 Buick that has been completely rebuilt. The engine has approx. 5k miles on it. Its .030 over with Poston Hypereutectic 10:1 pistons. Cam is a Poston C-118 which is a Kenne Bell grind. T/A roller rockers mounted on ported and polished heads. Intake is a T/A dual plane aluminum. Carb is a professionally rebuilt 800 cfm Q-Jet that works well with this combo. Ignition is an MSD pro billet distributor with an MSD digital 6AL box. Fuel is fed through a new Carter Mechanical pump with a Holley "Blue" pump pushing fuel from the tank. Radiator is a brand new Spectra 4 core. Runs cool. Engine has good oil pressure and runs strong. I raced the car in a F.A.S.T class 1 time at Englishtown on Bias Ply Tires and ran a 15.2 - 1/4 mile. Transmission is a Borg Warner Super T-10 4 speed with a Hurst Competition Plus shifter and rods. Clutch is brand new with a high performance ceramic disc. Rear axle is a 12 bolt Chevy unit with a 3.73 non clutch, true-track "locker" type differential. Car has 4 wheel disc brakes, line lock, and C clip eliminators and extended wheel studs in the rear. Suspension has front upper tubular A arms with poly bushings throughout. Front end is tight and as stated earlier set-up for Pro Touring road type racing Wheels are factory Buick 15x7 chrome Rallyes with era correct Goodyear Polyglas GT F-60 fiberglass belted tires All lights work as they should. Car has passed a NY state safety inspection. Extras I am including with the car - NIB PUI Interior Door Panels 1 set of Sport Mirrors which are primed and ready for paint.
