1986 BMW 325es Moving, and too many project bikes in the garage so this needs to go. Has a very low reserve but I'm also advertising this locally in addition to eBay. I've sold/bought several vehicles in eBay and experienced the very good and the very bad. If you have a low feedback score (less than 10), contact me with your contact info. Otherwise I may remove and block the bid. I'm not a dealer and don't have time to waste anymore than you do, and going through the 'non-payment strike' process is a pain. Condition: The mileage of 157590 is not correct as the odometer has not worked in a while (typical of the e30's). The gears in the odometer case are brand new, but will likely need a new SI board with fresh batteries to work again.When I bought it 4 years ago (see History), I immediately installed a timing belt kit (plus water pump) as this needs to be replaced on these cars every four years or 50K miles.The belts and thermostat need to be replaced and I am including a new set of these (including thermostat) in the sale.I would install another timing belt kit before spring if this is going to be immediately put on the road.Window regulators went out so windows won't roll down, but the sunroof works.Seats have new generic covers as the front seat is in pretty bad shape cosmetically. Should be reupholstered or replaced.Manual transmission and rear diff fluids changed before it was garaged.No radio, but I am including a brand new Kenwood in the sale.I would also replace the exhaust/muffler at some point as a hanger under the car broke so it is currently 'rigged' to stay up.Dash will need to be repaired or replaced as it has several cracks.Anything else I remember I will update to the listingLastly, while I just fired it up the other and ran it around the block, it has been sitting for a year and the tags/stickers are expired. I would not plan on driving it away. The buyer should make arrangements for shipping, towing, etc. History: I believe I'm the 3rd owner, the 2nd being a used car dealer north of town who used it as a runner for their staff. I bought it four years ago, and ran it around 4-5 days a week for three years. It has been parked in the garage for a year as I had planned on a restoration (which is why the tags and inspection sticker are expired). While I was driving it, it was strong and a fun runner. This is a fairly rare version of the e30 that if restored can bring a good return on the investment. Shipping and Payment: $200 deposit due immediately at auction end. The remainder will be invoiced separately from PayPal within a week. Payment must be completed before pickup arrangements will be made. And again, do not plan on driving this away - the buyer should make arrangements to ship/tow, etc. The tags/stickers are expired, and this car is As Is with no guarantees.
