We bought this car as a resto project and have never had the time and/or money to finish the project. This is a true SS Convertible big block 396 with matching number VIN, engine block, transmission, and read diff. I also have a turned crank that goes with the block.Please do not contact me asking to part out this car. She is probably 1 of 30 or so built in this configuration based on what I learned on Chevelles.com when I bought this car.This car is originally from the LA area, based on ticket stubs found when pulling the seats and old carpeting out of the car. She was later in Phoenix and used to race for titles until the previous owner spun a bearing. Block was torn down and is bare as you can see in the photos. I absolutely hate to see her go, but I want her to go to someone with the time and money to restore her to her original glory. Body panels all need to be replaced, as well as carpet, interior, soft top, etc.Dash, front bumper, hood, and several other parts I have in storage in my garage. Lots of work needed to get this car to be a runner again, but she will one of the only 68 SS Convertibles on the road. Shipping is up to you, and will be from an undisclosed bat cave somewhere in Northern Arizona. Car does have a title.
