I have for sale a 1954 five window GMC Long-bed pick-up. The truck's running gear is a 1960 Chevrolet 235 in-line six with a duel carb Fenton intake and split headers, this is back by a 5-speed trans and a 12-bolt rear-end. The fuel tank has been relocated from in the cab to between the rear frame rails and is now a fuel cell with an electric fuel pump. The truck runs well and just made a long trip from Utah to Colorado about six months ago. It was able to reach a nice cruising speed of 70 MPH thanks to the 5-speed trans. The body is very solid for its age, the cab and cab corners are solid with no holes and no rust issues. The floors do have some scale but I have not found any holes or soft spots. The doors are solid and the door seams are still tight and are not bulging from rust issues. It has a nice set of fenders and running boards that are all solid and have no rust issues. The sides of the bed do have a few small bubbles near the overlapping seams but no holes and is still very savable. The paint is fair but armature, it was last painted about ten years ago and has its share of scratches digs and chips but it was use as a daily driver so that is kinda expected. Overall this truck is a great candidate for restoration or to build a street rod or of course just to leave as is and drive.
