My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1991 Buick Riviera coupe with just 132k miles on it. The Riviera was the premier coupe of the Buick brand for decades. I would rate the exterior of this Riviera to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking car. There is light damage visible on the hood and fender just over the left headlight. The hood closes properly and latches tightly. Otherwise, everything lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open/close easily. The paint shines well and has a nice shine still. The wire wheel covers are all present and look good. The tires have average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. I would rate the interior of this Riviera to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Again, the interior of this Buick shows well for the age of the car. The door panels show slight wear but are presentable. The carpets show a few stains but are in good condition overall. The plush velour seats look good and are very comfortable. As with most of these cars, the headliner is sagging and has been tacked up out of the way. The dash is clean and shows well. The wood interior trim also shows well. The passenger window will need a new regulator...the drivers window works properly. The power seats and mirrors also work properly. The stereo system is original. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The "service a/c" light is on in the dash so it is safe to assume that the air conditioner does not work properly. The truck is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Riviera appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.8L V6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The 3800 V6 is one of the best FWD engines General Motors has ever used. It is an old AMC design and is known for simplicity and reliability. This engine has been a staple for GM from the late 80's through the mid 2000's. I would buy anything with a 3800 in it regardless of miles. Anyway, the suspension feels tight for an old car. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this coupe properly. The engine runs smoothly and makes great power. She keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. Her road manners are excellent. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1991 Buick Riviera coupe with just 132k miles on it. The Riviera was the premier coupe of the Buick brand for decades. I would rate the exterior of this Riviera to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking car. There is light damage visible on the hood and fender just over the left headlight. The hood closes properly and latches tightly. Otherwise, everything lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open/close easily. The paint shines well and has a nice shine still. The wire wheel covers are all present and look good. The tires have average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact.
I would rate the interior of this Riviera to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Again, the interior of this Buick shows well for the age of the car. The door panels show slight wear but are presentable. The carpets show a few stains but are in good condition overall. The plush velour seats look good and are very comfortable. As with most of these cars, the headliner is sagging and has been tacked up out of the way. The dash is clean and shows well. The wood interior trim also shows well. The passenger window will need a new regulator...the drivers window works properly. The power seats and mirrors also work properly. The stereo system is original. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The "service a/c" light is on in the dash so it is safe to assume that the air conditioner does not work properly. The truck is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this Riviera appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.8L V6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The 3800 V6 is one of the best FWD engines General Motors has ever used. It is an old AMC design and is known for simplicity and reliability. This engine has been a staple for GM from the late 80's through the mid 2000's. I would buy anything with a 3800 in it regardless of miles. Anyway, the suspension feels tight for an old car. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this coupe properly. The engine runs smoothly and makes great power. She keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. Her road manners are excellent. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will ba having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later. We cannot accept personal Checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents. We cannot issue temp tags or collect sales tax for out of state buyers. If you need a temp tag, there is a location nearby that can issue one to you. We can assist you in that process.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
