My name is Joe and I selll vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1984 BMW 318i coupe. I would rate the exterior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking BMW. There are a few rust bubbles on the body but nothing major. The only major rust I saw is that the drivers floor is rotted out. If your state requires vehicle inspections, a new floor pan or piece of sheet metal will need to be installed to correct this. The factory lower lip spoiler is still intact. It has a set of aftermarket alloys which look good and are wrapped in a nearly new set of rubber all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. With an investment of a few bucks into the floor, this would make a good daily driver and an even better race car. I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this car. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner show well for their age. The red leather seats also show very well for their age and are comfortable. The drivers seat is missing a panel in the back of the seat. The power windows go up and down easily. The sunroof is manual. The tachometer does not seem to work. Mechanically, this BMW does seem to be in good driving condition. The four cylinder engine starts with a jump and runs okay. Again, i suspect this vehicle will be turned into a race car so I'm not going to go too deeply into the mechanicals. It does run, drive and shift okay. The brakes are weak. The engine keeps good temp and I didn't see any obvious leaks. The suspension feels okay. Due to the brakes, I would recommend bringing a trailer to pick it up...although I did drive it 20 miles and didn't kill anyone. The odometer broke at 220k so I have no idea how many miles are on it. As you can see, this is a good looking BMW. There are a few rust bubbles on the body but nothing major. The only major rust I saw is that the drivers floor is rotted out. If your state requires vehicle inspections, a new floor pan or piece of sheet metal will need to be installed to correct this. The factory lower lip spoiler is still intact. It has a set of aftermarket alloys which look good and are wrapped in a nearly new set of rubber all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. With an investment of a few bucks into the floor, this would make a good daily driver and an even better race car.
I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this car. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner show well for their age. The red leather seats also show very well for their age and are comfortable. The drivers seat is missing a panel in the back of the seat. The power windows go up and down easily. The sunroof is manual. The tachometer does not seem to work.
Mechanically, this BMW does seem to be in good driving condition. The four cylinder engine starts with a jump and runs okay. Again, i suspect this vehicle will be turned into a race car so I'm not going to go too deeply into the mechanicals. It does run, drive and shift okay. The brakes are weak. The engine keeps good temp and I didn't see any obvious leaks. The suspension feels okay. Due to the brakes, I would recommend bringing a trailer to pick it up...although I did drive it 20 miles and didn't kill anyone. The odometer broke at 220k so I have no idea how many miles are on it. Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will ba having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later. We cannot accept personal Checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents. We cannot issue temp tags or collect sales tax for out of state buyers. If you need a temp tag, there is a location nearby that can issue one to you. We can assist you in that process.
