1975 Nova SS,complete restoration of a rust free western car. Extremely low mileage and documented with a signed mileage disclosure,car sat from 1994 until 2005,I also have a oil change slip from 1994 showing 44,630,when I got it in 2005 it had 44,857 and presently it has 44,993.We haven't driven it since 09,it just sits,covered in a climate controlled garage.We have a new kitchen in the works so this is selling to help with the cost. It has the original numbers matching 350 four barrel motor and turbo 350 transmission. I removed the front clip,pulled the engine and trans,cleaned detailed everything and I mean everything,Only thing I did to the engine is install new valve seals and gaskets,motor is absolutely spotless inside. I pulled the rear end,new grease,gaskets and brakes,pulled the gas tank,had it cleaned internally,new front and rear seals,fluid and filters in the trans,new shocks all around.This is a Los Angeles built car and was never undercoated,all I had to do underneath is wash it,scuff it and refinish in the correct red oxide,it looks real good.This car did not come from the factory with the SS stickers,I put those on along with a NOS grille emblem (try to find one of those!). I really don't think the SS package meant much in 75 except it got you the 350 4 barrel which this car has(I'm just being honest,there is no way to tell) and it is heavily optioned along with the hatchback makes this one very desirable Nova. The exterior was refinished in PPG red base coat/clear coat.I installed new carpet and seat covers. The bumpers are absolutely original and zero rechroming was needed,all original glass,original sill plates,all window fuzzies are original,a good bit of the weatherstripping is original,the car is just that nice.I installed all new o rings and rebuilt the drier for the A/C but never pulled a vacuum and recharged it, I will include 4 cans of R-12 with the car. New American Racing 15 X 7 Torque Thrust wheels with BF Goodrich TA's all around, also note that these are the chrome wheels,not polished so no pain in the rear upkeep on the wheels. I also have the original 14X7 rallys with new rings and the rare SS centers,wheels have been glass beaded and refinished,buyer can have them if they want them. I honestly hate to sell this car as I redid it for my wife, she had one of these years ago, first car she bought and paid for herself,so when we got married I traded it for a truck,so after hearing about it for the next thirty years I bought this one for her.However kitchens are expensive and the car just sits,time for someone else to enjoy it. Also new exhaust front to rear with a crossflow muffler from Flowmaster.
