Vehicle Detail

Help yourself to this really cool Plymouth Custom Coupe. Pictures tell the story on the exterior, I finished the body in epoxy primer after sanding it down and filling some minor areas that needed attention. All the body seams are filled, they were done before I bought it and look really good. This was an older restoration, and a few spots below the doors is all I really needed to do. I am no body man and only do projects that require very little help. I pulled the dash out and shot it lipstick red to match the interior door panels and sills. It has original chrome on the dash that could use some buffing or re chroming. All new VDO guages and a custom billet bezel was installed,as there were no originals in the car. The oil pressure always reads 40-50 lbs, the car runs cool as well (aluminum radiator and a new Summit mech. fan). It has a Camaro front clip, IFS, a SBC (327? no leaks) and a turbo 350 trans (has a small leak when sitting, went through 3/4 qt of trans fluid this year). Also a chevy rear end w 3.73 gear set. Ive put alot of miles on this car and it handles and rides well. The trunk is in good shape with no blowouts, it was painted with an undercoat material and could be carpeted. The cabin has brand new black carpet installed, with noise insulation underneath. Pulled all the old carpet out and the floor was in great shape. It has a late model GM steering column w/ tilt. The seats and doors were covered before i bought the car and they are nice with a couple small blems but no rips or tears. It has a shifter from a 27 Ford truck, I just set a Lokar knob on top. Also i installed 37 Chevy tail lights which work with both the lights and brakes. The peep mirrors are swap meet specials, as is the sun visor. I have all the grille bars but only the big ones are on the car. I mounted them to a NOS grille shell which i found at a swap meet. The car has 4 nice whitewalls on true wire rims, they are driver quality (drivers side rear has a slow leak). The car does not have a choke hooked up but starts easily, although you will want to put a good battery in it (the batt is in the trunk). Overall this is a nice driver as is or you can play with it this winter and make it super nice. keep in mind this is a real business coupe and not a special deluxe, not too many around anymore, you can quickly tell by the small rear windows. The glass is original and it shows, no big cracks in the windshield but some small ones and some fog, the windows do roll up and down. Call Matt @ 330-774-0822 with questions and shipping quotes. will ship overseas at buyers expense. No trades unless they are as cool as this car... Some things i forgot to mention- I have fiberglass skirts for this car and it has dual exhaust (Magnaflow sound). and an open WVA title w/ matching vin On Oct-24-13 at 13:23:31 PDT, seller added the following information:Lots of bidders are asking great questions, so take a minute and check them out. Ebay took away my Buy it Now of $9900, but I am still taking offers. Bid to buy as this is a no reserve sale, but I do end auctions early. Ask your wife if its ok first, especially before calling me and wasting hours of time. One question asked but we cant see it is if the car has heat and air. It does have heat, but no air. Thanks and good luck.
