I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has earned a reputation as a rugged and reliable SUV that offers a whole lot of truck for your dollar. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this Jeep looks great. This is a very, very rare color to find in a Grand Cherokee Limited. The exterior of this Jeep is virtually flawless. I won't say it's perfect...any older vehicle will not be perfect. However, this is the cleanest one I've seen in quite some time. I'd put this up against any 97 Jeep on the market. Everything on the body lines up nice and straight. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks great from any angle. All of the body cladding is intact and looks great...not faded or scuffed up like most. The alloy wheels show very well and are wrapped in a set of Goodyears with nice tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. I didn't see as much as a spec of body rust on this Jeep. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Cherokee Limited. I would rate the interior of this Jeep Grand Cherokee to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior of this Jeep is also clean. The door panels are clean and tight...with minor wear showing on the drivers door arm rest, which is normal with use. The black leather seats show well throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The carpets are nice and clean. The dash is also clean and shows no fading or cracks. The headliner is sagging a little, which is also common with age. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The original Infinity Gold Premium Sound powers up and sounds good. There are steering wheel controls for the audio system. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heat blows hot and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The only bad thing I can say about the interior is that the dash lights are sometimes bright...sometimes dim. This is caused by a faulty headlight switch (the dimmer is integrated with the switch). It is an easy and inexpensive item to replace should you choose to do so. The factory remote entry system also works properly. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good, too. The suspension feels tight for an older Grand Cherokee. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. There have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. In addition to the rare color, this Grand Cherokee has a very unusual (and very desirable) set of options. Most Grand Cherokee Limited's come with the V8 engine...it is very hard to find a Limited with the 4.0L engine. Out of the few Limited's with the straight six, even fewer have the Select-Trac 4WD system which is the most desirable transfer case. Most of the Grand Cherokee Limited's have the Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system which eats more fuel and makes parking in tight spaces a nightmare due to the lack of a center differential (which they later fixed with Quadra-Trac II). Quadra-Trac is standard of all V8 Grand Cherokee's and optional with the inline six, although most 4.0L Limited's came with Quadra-Trac. Finding a Grand Cherokee in this color, in this condition, with low miles...and a 4.0L engine...and with Select-Trac is very, very uncommon. If you're looking for a nice example of an older Grand Cherokee, this Jeep deserves your consideration. Nice ones are getting hard to find. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has earned a reputation as a rugged and reliable SUV that offers a whole lot of truck for your dollar. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this Jeep looks great. This is a very, very rare color to find in a Grand Cherokee Limited. The exterior of this Jeep is virtually flawless. I won't say it's perfect...any older vehicle will not be perfect. However, this is the cleanest one I've seen in quite some time. I'd put this up against any 97 Jeep on the market. Everything on the body lines up nice and straight. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks great from any angle. All of the body cladding is intact and looks great...not faded or scuffed up like most. The alloy wheels show very well and are wrapped in a set of Goodyears with nice tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. I didn't see as much as a spec of body rust on this Jeep. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Grand Cherokee Limited.
I would rate the interior of this Jeep Grand Cherokee to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior of this Jeep is also clean. The door panels are clean and tight...with minor wear showing on the drivers door arm rest, which is normal with use. The black leather seats show well throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The carpets are nice and clean. The dash is also clean and shows no fading or cracks. The headliner is sagging a little, which is also common with age. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The original Infinity Gold Premium Sound powers up and sounds good. There are steering wheel controls for the audio system. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heat blows hot and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The only bad thing I can say about the interior is that the dash lights are sometimes bright...sometimes dim. This is caused by a faulty headlight switch (the dimmer is integrated with the switch). It is an easy and inexpensive item to replace should you choose to do so. The factory remote entry system also works properly.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good, too. The suspension feels tight for an older Grand Cherokee. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. There have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints.
In addition to the rare color, this Grand Cherokee has a very unusual (and very desirable) set of options. Most Grand Cherokee Limited's come with the V8 engine...it is very hard to find a Limited with the 4.0L engine. Out of the few Limited's with the straight six, even fewer have the Select-Trac 4WD system which is the most desirable transfer case. Most of the Grand Cherokee Limited's have the Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system which eats more fuel and makes parking in tight spaces a nightmare due to the lack of a center differential (which they later fixed with Quadra-Trac II). Quadra-Trac is standard of all V8 Grand Cherokee's and optional with the inline six, although most 4.0L Limited's came with Quadra-Trac. Finding a Grand Cherokee in this color, in this condition, with low miles...and a 4.0L engine...and with Select-Trac is very, very uncommon. If you're looking for a nice example of an older Grand Cherokee, this Jeep deserves your consideration. Nice ones are getting hard to find. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will ba having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later. We cannot accept personal Checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents. We cannot issue temp tags or collect sales tax for out of state buyers. If you need a temp tag, there is a location nearby that can issue one to you. We can assist you in that process.
