Vehicle Detail
1969 Dodge Polara-Super Low Miles Odometer reading is below 60,000 and appears accurate! Running driving, licensed, and complete. Added a couple of pictures of the dash pad. It is in excellent condition . It looks clean to the naked ey, but the camera on close up and flash really picked up all the dirt in the texture. Wow. I've been asked twice about the windshield. It is in excellent condition. No cracks, no pitting, no scratches or rock chips. I assume it was replaced at some point but don't remember seeing a receipt for that. It is marked PPG at the base (and in the middle) 318 V-8, Automatic, Power Steering, Heater, Radio Two tone paint, interior light package. Stock except for dual exhaust, radial tires, and overflow tank. Lots of service records from 1971 until now. Re-painted in 1991. Left rocker is rusted. Recent work includes new battery, exhaust, carburetor. I've had 3 other fuselage body Mopars and this the nicest driving of any of them. The steering is tight and the ride is smooth and quiet. This would make a great start for a '69 Dodge Interceptor clone. I have read that, at 146+ mph, the '69 Dodge Polara (440 4 barrel) was the fastest four door police car ever built until the '06 Hemi Charger. Cool. Here is a great way to get into the old car hobby cheap, or part this out for a lot of the parts that are compatible with Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars. This is a 44+ year old car and is sold as is and where is. I have driven it to work and on 50 mile round trips with no undisclosed issues. Can you drive it home? That is up to you…no guarantees.
