This truck is from an arrid climate with no rust issues. The truck has original 125,000 miles. Engine does not smoke, rattle or leak, starts right up. The engine's coolant is clean with no rust inside the block. The transmission is tight, shifts well and the clutch is smooth and easy to depress. The wipers are electric and function well. The heater, defrost and blower work well and does not leak coolant. Lights work as they should, interior, dash, high beam indicator, high and low beam, turn signal indicators. The speedometer works and is accurate. The fuel system is very clean, clean fuel bowl, clean fuel tank and clean carburetor. Brakes are good. It would be easier to state the only thing that does not work is the fuel guage. The patina is just right along with the trucks bumps and scratches. I was compelled to install the wide whitewall tires and it was hard to resist tagging the doors with some gas and oil artwork. If I own this truck much longer I will paint a red Pegasus on the doors with lettering giving in to my automobilia addiction.
