Up for auction is a very popular 1956 Buick Special two door hardtop. The car is in project form and has a great platform for you to finish as you wish. The car was found in the backyard of an older couple in Arizona and had been there for the better part of 10 years. From the plates on the car, it looks like it came from California. While there is some minor rust as shown in the photos, this is a western car. It doesn't look like its been in the rust belt. The car is relatively complete except for the motor and transmission. If you need to have a 1956 Buick 322, I have a 4 bbl long block that is available for an extra cost. The frame looks to be in very good condition along with most of the body. There is some minor rust on one of the rocker panels which should be an easy fix. The front and rear floor are very solid as you can see from the pictures. The trunk does have some rust thru in one of the corners and I have tried to reflect that area in the photos. This is a very popular body style among the custom car builders. There's not much you need to do to make this car look special. Also of interest is the side trim, which is coveted by builders of other cars. The side trim alone is worth is significant amount and its all there. I put a coupe of pictures of prototypes of this car that have been build by others. This car has tremendous potential.
